The Subortus Project hosted its very own MFG Day keynote event! Our speakers were policymakers, engineers, and educators, and they’re all part of the manufacturing sector. Our message: there’s a fulfilling career in manufacturing for anyone with any interests.

The specs of the event:
What:Â keynote event with speakers who specialize in a variety of fields related to America's modern-day manufacturing sector. Speakers include an economist, policymaker, engineer, and specialist in workforce equity.

Who's invited: middle schoolers and high schoolers anywhere in the US.

Background:Â MFG Day is an annual initiative spearheaded by the Manufacturing Institute (MI), a nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C., that advises manufacturers on how to grow and thrive in America's ever-changing economy. The MI invites other organizations and corporations around the country to host their own job fairs, factory tours, or keynote events under the MFG Day effort. More info can be found at mfgday.com.
