The Subortus Project offers funded exploration opportunities for high schoolers interested in exploring STEM, economics, policy, or social change in the context of America's manufacturing sector, either through research or career training. In the research path, program participants propose a research question and plan, and then have the option to work under an advisor/professional who specializes in their area of interest. Funding goes toward travel costs and other fees. In the career training path, participants choose an educational institution or apprenticeship to attend, and complete a set duration of coursework using. Funding goes toward travel costs and tuition.
